The Chestnut-flanked White-eye (Zosterops erythropleurus) is found in Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Russia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its conservation status is least concern.
This bird migrates the greatest distance of the Zosteropids. It breeds in northern China and migrates to South East Asia in the winter.
